Hello everyone! i´d like to ask ya for your help, because the wupinstaller is not installing any app or game on the USB drive and neither the Wii U Nand...i´ve already installed games that STILL WORK PROPERLY, like zombi u on a USB Drive; and also i´ve installed succesfully on the Wii U Nand, Zelda Breath of The Wild, fast racing neo and some others VC games like DK 64, New Super Mario Bros DS, Metroid Prime Hunters, on the console Nand. They still work! But since the day 5.5.2U have been released i can´t install anything else. I bought a Kinston 32 GB USB drive to install more games and it didn´t allow to install any game or app else, neither USB or Wii U NAND (i´ve got DNS blocked, so i did not updated).... I´ve updated the Wupinstaller to 1.3, i´ve tried with Wupinstaller GX2, i´ve applied the spoof to 5.5.2 U and still nothing happens. wHAY CAN I DO? PLEASEEE HEEELP! (and cheers from south américa)

Well it look like you have a problem because it's maybe a non legit games (eshop or dlc games), you should run at least sign patcher before giving another try... Did you use a fake tik to install it??!

i´ve download from the HB app store that sign patcher, but i´m not sure how to use it. This error is not just with Super Mario Bros U, it had appeared with Sonic Boom, and when i tried to install the Wup Installer GX2 as a channel. It installed but when i try to load it as a channel (after run mocha), it showed me a error on the drive.

Ok people...just to le you know that i found the problem. Was the 32 Gb Kingston Drive. I could install content on other generic Drives with less storage capacity. Now i ask you...there is something i can do to use that 32 GB Kingston Drive. Format it on the Pc on especial settings?

It's a USB stick, right? Not really recommended for use on the Wii U. Get a cheap USB hard disk, instead. Even a low capacity 500GB will do fine, as there aren't that many good games to install. As for the USB stick, use it for multimedia on your TV or something.

Yep usb sticks are not designed for constant read and writes the wiiu is constantly writing to the storage device especially in games like botw using one will dramatically reduce the usb sticks lifespan. Hdd on the other hand is designed for being written and read from constantly. Nintendo themselves when botw came out told everyone not to use USB sticks for that very reason.

Thanks for the advice, but here in my country external HDD are still kind of expensive...but i think i´ll be fine with a 250 GB. Botw is installed on the Wii U Nand. But i´d like to play Darksiders and project Zero, so i need at least a 16 GB one (i have 8 GB in which i have installed Zombi U)...There is no method to make that 32 GB work ?(formatting on a special way or something) ?

Nope! The Wii U takes care of the formatting, and it still doesn't work that good. It's a problem shared by all USB flash sticks, not just yours. Buy the 250GB hard disk, it should work fine. You will not have room for all the games, but just delete what you don't play anymore to make room for new ones.

Well, looks like i underestimate the "cheapness" of external second hand USB HDD at my country (Colombia, South America). Found this second hand Toshiba 1 TB bastard for 80.000 COP (27 USD)...now i ask ya, i just plug it on the Wii U ala USB Drive and that´s it?

A single Wii U usb port doesn't supply adequate power to external drives. You'll likely need a Y cable hooked up to that drive, which will utilize 2 usb ports. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong though.
