I wanted to continue this in the other topic, but it would be off topic anyway. my HDD was formatting at 45% when the power to my crappy little basement died. When the power came back, my HDD was no longer recognized by bios, I had to use my other HDD for now. but this HDD is not currently recognized even by bios, anyone know a solution?

It happens to me once... And I had to trash my HD (it was not formatting though, just reading, when the power went off).

I had no way get back my datas or even get my HD recognized by the BIOS...
