Homebrew Question HBG Store is very slow?

Surprised no-one can say anything helpful.

90DNS is in France and you probably aren't. Using 90DNS to download stuff from google drive (which hbg/tinfoil uses) will direct you to French google drive servers. I in the east coast USA also got 2 mb/s using 90DNS. I get closer to 8 mb/s using incognito or a locally hosted DNS on my lan like yadns-nx, because these methods direct tinfoil to local USA servers.

Thankjs so much for the reply! You are one of the VERY few helpful posts in this thread lol. Everyone keeps telling me about how my download speed is slow because it reflects my ISP's speed that I get normally,.... Even though I already said that I get 11.5 - 12MB/s.

I guess I will just either not use HBG Store, or I will remove 90DNS and get incognito.

I will probably just not use HBG Store, I don't really have a need for it anyways. I just figured it would be easier/better than installing my games through USB from my PC.

I was also getting super slow speeds in order to get the fast speeds do this:
1) Make sure to use 5ghz wifi.
2) Use inconitgo and not 90dns.
3) If you are in sx then go into the tinfoil settings and change the download threads to 2 instead of 1 (this preatty much doubled my speed).

Thanks, yes removing 90DNS has fixed the problem. I was already using 5G, and I don't use SX-OS.

Interesting, it was stated many times, but I have never seen it once, I have actually never even heard of google DNS. No worries though, the problem has already been solved. Thanks though ;] I will look into google DNS in a few min.
