Homebrew *hax 2.6 released new feature experimental returning to homemenu from hbl

Hmm interesting.

I run on a new 3DS with 9.2E sysNAND and 10.6 ReiNand emuNAND. I definitely have updated the payload too as it says *hax 2.6 Gamma in the debug screen however I did manually edit my payload to point to bhbl.3dsx instead of boot.3dsx to comply with my CTR setup. And I haven't updated Homebrew Launcher Loader in ages so it might be related to that probably.

My software setup is quite different (new 3ds, AuReiNand, 10.6 sysnand, 9.2 emunand, unedited payload, Gridlauncher, no CTR). Any number of things could be causing your problem, but I don't think it's the hax.

The homebrew launcher got an update a few days back, maybe update and try it

i think i'll just stay at 2.5 for the time being.
i only go into hbl for svdt and i can live with the 15 seconds it takes to boot back to emunand

I am unable find the 10.6.0-31 payload. I guess it's ok with the 10.6.0-30 but idk.

It isn't important to me, I just thought I would mention it

And so you run on the bleeding edge A9HL setup, I would like to too but I'm too afraid of dumping my OTP, not to mention messing something up installing A9HL and perma-bricking my 3DS. Buying a new one would put a big dent in my finances, not to mention I'll likely have to go to the whole 9.x --> 9.2 downgrade ordeal again

The last part doesn't matter. You could do 10.6.0-999 and it would still work

• 10.6 Cubic Ninja payloads are in the FW version dropdown boxes on the Ninjhax page: http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/
• For Homebrew Launcher Loader CIA, use the otherapp payload using the FW version dropdown on smealum's hax page: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/
• OOT downloads the payload when you run the installer AFAIK

Other *hax implementations don't work on 10.6 now anyway, so there's no point in having updated payloads for them.

No more konami code to change the color of the homebrew launcher since pressing b takes you back to a folder selection menu now.

I'm curious if this 2.6 ropbin payload has a better boot rate for CFW via menuhax. I'll have to test it myself, backing up my current menuhax payload. (Currently using hax 2.1 which has a better boot rate for gateway it seems, at least for me)
