Using grid launcher here also, so just confirming no need for me to change boot.3dsx ?
nope i just tossed the new payload on, launched the cia it loaded right into grid launcher. mashers said he is going to look into adding the new features into grid launcher so we will just have to wait for those

I hope so, and I hope it fixes the issue with it sometimes loading the Download Play stuff which seems to happen more often on 10.6 (emunand) for some reason.

I though I were the only one who has that !

I'll try it tonight, but that would be great if that fixes this issue (and the return-to-home is a pretty big feature for me).

Nope I have it as well and it happens far more often on 10.6 than it did on 10.5/10.3 and apparently it is an issue with the payload rather than the launcher according to this github post. I am also hoping it will have a better CFW booting success rate (about 25% of failures are ones where ctrbootmanager fails to load, the other 75% ctrbootmanager freezes when trying to load the Cakes launcher).

Oh, ok. Nice to hear !

To be honest I don't really care about better boot-rate, since I'm on A9LH now and it's completely amazing (even if the setup is a pain and pure 8 hours of stress).

Exit to system home menu is now implemented in Gridlauncher. Please update to beta 135 using the online updater. *hax 2.6 users will see this option appear automatically after updating in the START menu (it replaces the 'Reboot' option). *hax 2.5 users will still see the 'Reboot' option and it will function as before.

It's not the 8 hours of stress, it's the few minutes (for N3DS(XL)) you patch the bricked emunand to flash to sysnand and reboot, does it boot or does it stay on 2 black screens! That gives you 2-3 minutes stress that's equal to 8 hours :P (And then the breakdown cause you stare at 2 black screens, the horror you can't find words for!)

But anyway, nice to see a 2.6 hack update for the exploits :)

No, I was stressed during all the process because of the check of folder names, then installing the modded 2.1 sysNAND, and the Arm9LoaderHax installation part... It was really awful ^^

Never had the two black screens since I used the emu/sysNAND switch guide who setups AuReiNand before installing A9LH, so it reboots straight to SysNAND after installing.

I have an odd thing happen with 2.6

When I use the new feature of going back to the home menu, and then try to shut down using the power button, the screen goes off without shutting down (you can still hear the home menu for example). This only happens after returning to the home menu from HBL. Anyone else have this happen?

Yes, this problem is present since *hax 2.5, becuause I think it doesn't properly restore the power/home button hooks, so I think it triggers the *hax shutdown sequence instead of homemenu's

The *hax 2.6 feature doesn't seem to appeal me. Couldn't we always return to the home menu from HBL
Only by triggering a reboot of the console. The exit feature in *hax 2.6 is faster.

Only reboot and turn off, maybe i need the otherapp payload
That means you're not running *hax 2.6. You need to update your payload.
