Having a SEGA: Super Smash Brothers

Now, I've been thinking about this, and I was wondering if anyone else thought that it would own if SEGA decided to make their own Super Smash Brothers game, only using SEGA characters. Think of how many characters they could have.

(I know this will never happen, I know Sonic is in the new Smash Brothers, this topic is all hypothetical)

However, I will gladly list some SEGA characters that will fit well into this game.

w00t, my reading actually serves a purpose, this is the reason why.

Robotnik's full name is Dr. Ivo Eggman Robotnik, Ivo is Ovi spelled backwards, which means "Egg" in other languages. In Japan, in Sonic games, he was labeled as Eggman and not Robotnik, Sonic Team of America later found this out, and made characters in Sonic Adventure give him the nickname of "Eggman", it's just a shortening of his full name.

Anyway.. if you're a SEGA hardcore fan you should know that SEGA already had a fighting game with characters from different series called "Fighters Megamix" for the Sega Saturn!

I am already aware of this, and it isn't like Sega Saturn had the best games for Sega.

Fighters Megamix was crappy, and to add, it didn't have any major Sega characters and only consisted of characters from Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers and Virtua Cop.

Dude, Fighters Megamix totally rocked. I loved it, it was a pretty fast fighting game (more than those "s-l-o-w m-o-t-i-o-n" tekken at least). The selection of characters was great. Only Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers and Virtua Cop? There was actually Bean the flicky (a Sonic character..., ok, not major, but from other series), H-something, the car from Daytona (lol) and a few other freaky ones such as a palmtree, bear, panda bear balloon... crazy.

I think the characters were greatly chosen as using Sonic would've been really weird on a fighting game and it's always funny to find out about other minor characters, and not always the same main characters showing off how cool they are. You may not have liked the game, but the choice was good and it was a good game.

However, I see what you mean. You'd like a SSBB with lots of cartoony stuff and unrealistic physics (even more, not like fighting games use realism a lot

), just with lotsa characters by SEGA.

Your choice, personally... I don't like it. I just don't feel much sympathy for those characters except maybe Ulala or the ones from the Sonic series. Oh, and Ryo, of course! But IIRC, Ryo Hazuki was slightly inspired by the image of Akira (they actually had an identical move). It wouldn't make much sense to put them together...

Stretching arms and great head butting abilities.

Some characters from Nights, Alien Storm, Clockwork Knight (crap game but would be a good fighter), Dynamite Headdy (technically a Treasure character but then so are the Gunstar Heroes), Cyber Troopers Virtual on, Jet Set Radio, Kid Chameleon, Kenseiden , My Hero, The Ooze, Pengo.

Would like to see Ecco the Dolphin as some kind of trophy assit that works with stages near sea, you call him up and he knocks people into water and pecks them to death.

Would also love one of the boss zombies from House of the Dead. I can see this happening, Sega ripped off Mario Kart for Sonic Drift & Mario Tennis for their Sega Tennis (DS one is looking great)

Also I don't think you really need every playable character from every series. Like all three of them from Gunstar Heroes? No clones!

Ummm... where the hell is Max, from Shining Force?! It's only one of the best (if not THE best) SRPGs ever. Max would be kick-ass, and he'd be strong with the Chaos Breaker and everything.
