having a bit of trouble with backups

    I am currently having a bit trouble with my backups I am currently on 4.2.1 and I want to downgrade to 4.1
    I have my shsh blobs saved for 4.1 anyway I downgraded to 4.1 transfered all of my purchases and when I right click my device
    Restore from Backup everything works fine but when I load my game my save is not there??? what am I doing wrong
    I am using 2g MC model only reason I downgraded is to jailbreak but I need my app data is it possible to use a 4.2.1 backup on ios 4.1?

    i dont think it would be easy to use a 4.2.1 backup for 4.1 as it is a different software version and many things are different...

    Backup and restore does not keep apps or their saves.
    Transfer purchases and syncing only keeps the apps, but not the saves.

    To keep the saves, you must use a third-party program like OpenSSH or iPhoneBrowser, then you have to manually backup your saves one by one.

    another program i used was ifunbox. its pretty easy to navigate through the ipod too
