Hacking Havent updated in over a year, whats best to do?

I have a regular XL that I havent updated the system firmware or gateway software etc since I got it which I think was just over a year ago.

I just wasnt sure about what to do i.e do I have to reinstall everything or will they block the gateway card etc.

You don't have to reinstall anything, just download the latest launcher.dat and update emunand.

EDIT: didn't notice you mentioned the gateway you already own. yeah, just update emuNAND and the launcher.dat (from GW's website) and you're good to go.
