Not worth the headache and the shit feeling that comes with a bricked console in my opinion but you do you.

Tbh we are at the same state as the 3DS if noobs forget to back it up, they can rebuild the image using ChoiDujour and their bis keys

No, you most certainly did NOT screw up. Having a NAND backup is a safety measure in case something goes wrong BUT as long as you are careful, follow instructions to the letter and don't try to run untested code on your system you will be fine, no need to panic about it

I backed it up a bit after I installed games etc. Back it up ASAP. I've used Freeshopnx and that's about it, haven't been banned yet. Always using Flight Mode in CFW, and when transitioning from FW to FW, I clear logs through RCM. Hope it lasts long

didnt know i was supposed to backup emmc sys. what is that? and how do i backup it?

emmc sys is a partition the partition is in your rawnand.bin dont worry...

People dump sys and partitions for easy use with applications to edit modify them

You cant be always in flight mode, if your using freeshop..
And your be lucky if your not banned already for connecting to the net with non stock system,,

But always make a full backup before any modification of anything if you care about warranty and bans
