I found a JP site with addresses for save mods.

    http://savedata.jp/3dssave/

They have the cyber save editor to decrypt saves. I was wondering if anyone here figured out how to decrypt those saves.

Nope. If I had to take a stab at it, it looks like the same encryption used on games stored on the SD.

I'm honestly surprised there isn't a tool for decrypting these newer saves, considering that there are already 2 products released in japan that can decrypt those.
(the Datel one and the CYBER Gadget one)

Those are based off the R4 Save dongle, so it is really only 2 main types; the R4 dongle and the NDS Adaptor plus. I can't find anyone selling the 3rd one, that can only leave me with the impression that it is no longer supported.

Dumping the save is the easy part.

The CYBER Gadget save editor's software actually decrypts saves server sided apparently and it works with all the newer games (Including MH4, ML:DT, ect) so its definitely been done. I just want to know how to decrypt those saves myself.
