have a Wii .ciso file, How to UNscub???

    I have downloaded Wiiscrubber and it wont unscrub?

    all i have in the download folder is "SUPER MARIO GALAXY 2.ciso"

    perhaps WiiScrubber isnt compatible with cisos...

    Scrubbing is the permanent deletion of the data in the unused portions of the disc by overwriting.
    Reversing this process is simply not possible short of things like restoring a backup or reripping.

    You probably need to convert it to ISO first
    But even then, you'll need a diff file to do it (it can't magically recreate the data out of nowhere)

    Other than that, any reason to unscrub it?

    You can use:

    Wii convertor GUI 1.5.0

    or:

    Wii backup manager

    Where do the tools get the data from?

    And why would I want it back?

    They just fill it up with zeros [​IMG]

    As I said, you need a diff file if you want to unscrubb

    Yes so did I in post #3

    But then some guys posted tools (2 Posts above mine)
    and I wondered "why (n how) unscrub?".

    It might be possible the filler data is actually created by a algorithm.
    Could be used in copy protection.

    well how do you burn the disk if its a .ciso?
    (I have a D2C-chip in my Wii)

    but what has that to do with (un)scrubbing
