That's just bullshit. How anything can be easier without auto-aim than the auto-aimed variant? I've played MW2 for 15 days now on the PC and I can guarantee QS is much less rampant than on the consoles. I've come across a lot of QS'ers but it's nowhere as easy as on the consoles, combinations like this are nearly impossible on the PC. The average level of gamers is just higher on here.
First of all. It might be easier on console because its actually harder for people to "react" and "move" their cursor to their target compared to PC. Use hold to aim down sight. And practice. Learning to quickscope on console is harder than on PC. I have played both MW3 on PC & PS3. I know how to quickscope and i started to quickscope on PS3 as early as MW2, and never played CoD on PC until MW3 when i wanted to try quickscope on PC. I speak of this as personal experience. The last thing of all. People playing on PC are usually MORE experienced in FPS games than people playing on their console. Seriously my experience from play CS 1.6 (I played proffesionally) has helped me on all FPS games i have played in my life and people just doesnt compare to me in term of skills. All FPS games after qutting CS 1.6 feels like a faceroll, and it still is.

Conclusion: The reason you find it harder is basically because other people are more experienced and used to reacting and moving their cursor to shot your head down. Not to mention less lag most of the time because of not being wireless. Quickscoping is still easier and will always be easier on PC. If you insist it isn't, then you simply suck at using the mouse and the fact that your brain lacks some reaction skills.

yes FPS is easier on the PC. though i'm slow to react so i really suck at it.
though when i was younger, in CS, forgot what version the trick some snipers use was to use pistol then switch to sniper rifle+shot.

Quickscoping on a console, takes not that much skill. Do it on the PC and you've earned yourself a view + like, now only a view :)
No, its not hard. In fact its easier.

Imo aiming on the PC is just plain easier than it is on the consoles, so I'd have to agree with DarkStriker.

Auto-Aim was designed to compensate for console controllers lack of precision.
Auto-aim puts console players on a slightly more even plain, but even still mice are superior.

EDIT: Also, like console, you can remapp keys to make quickscoping dead simple. Map scope and shoot to the same key. It's entertaining as hell.

Auto aiming should help on consoles but what I think is that it is bit difficult to get used to controls... Aiming with mouse is very simple for sure but quickscoping can get easier with some adjustments to mouse sensitivity...

If you're that good, wanna go for a few rounds on MW2 :creep: I play all the time via AlterIWNet, it's so great :)
I'm just glad I have that version, would have ditched the game way earlier on any other platform, those damned GL's make me rage so hard. + QS is nowhere as rampant on here than on the consoles, the more skilled players take care of that :P

I can believe it's much harder to aim with joysticks than the mouse, for sure. Just hate all those people (like the author of this vid) that QS like this on consoles and then think they are good at the game. No you're not good, and no you don't earn my respect (or loads of other people their respect). Sandy Ravage, now that's a fucking hero.

Too bad i dont own MW2 on PC. My brother does however. Also alterIWnet is indeed a better place to play when your on the computer. I only play CoD casually with friends and my skills arent really that good. Its just that there are more awful people on CoD then there is good players, meaning facerolling is way easier :). I also use 50% of my free time to play LoL competitively so i dont really have much time to do other things really.

AlterIWNet is completely free, you could download it. If you were really CS professional it wouldn't take long before you're owning me :) There are indeed way more noobs on CoD (well, aren't there in every game?) than pro's, true. In the past 15 games or so, I can honestly say there were only 2 guys who were as good as me or better :ninja:
