There is, just delete the PS4 movie file, that way the original gets loaded instead.

Will this work with the 1.02 update? If I had the 250 songs from months back, can I use the updated db file to get 255 songs?

Might help a little bit, but I just did this and can show my folder structure.
You'll need the merged pv_db and folder stubs justin posted above.

Inside the atmosphere/contents/titleID folder you have a romfs folder, and two folders within it -- the rom_ps4_dlc folder and rom_switch folder.

The rom_ps4_dlc folder should contain the five M00X folders and the PS4's rom folder (all the PS4 game's data).
The rom folder inside the rom_switch directory should contain your merged pv_db (and any other mods you install that go here).

If you have more than the first DLC pack installed, in order to have them show up you'll need to create DLC stub folders as well.
The DB stubs file justin linked has the titleID001 and 002 folders, but you'll need to copy and create folders for titleID003 through 7, for DLC packs 2 through 6. Just copy and rename the folders and text file following this structure.

You can install other mods too (skip startup logos and Lightning + Performance adjust mod are good), but these have clear instructions included with them.

Should I also rename dlc1_pv_db.txt to their corresponding folders? And also is there any difference when my ps4 folder is named rom_ps4 and not rom_ps4_dlc? thanks!

Edit pv_db.txt. Also, if you only have 248 songs you're probably missing HachiHachi, Saturation and Bless Your Breath.

Bring It On requires manual pv_db.txt editing unless someone's made a merged one with the
song included. Bless Your Breath works out of the box if you have the DLC. HachiHachi and Saturation can be enabled with the IPSwitch patches found here.

Extract the pv_db from the DLC's romfs and check if there are no song ID conflicts with the pv_db in the rom_switch(_en)/rom folder. If not, try merging them (after making a backup).

nxdumptool should work. But the interesting thing is it should just work if you have the Japanese copy of the game and the official DLC.

The nxdumptool thing worked, i extracted the dlc and got the 279 files to the rom folder and now everything is ok, thanks
