Has the paint on your DSlite buttons rubbed off?

I have the "retro" skin on my DSlite from decalgirl.com and it labels the ABXY buttons on the skin itself. I thought this was redundant since the buttons are already labeled, but then I got to thinking.......do the letters painted on the buttons eventually rub off?

Has anyone here had the letters rub off of them yet?

    Just a curious question.....

I dont think the original buttons can be rubbed off easily

But if you put a decal on it, i think it can rub off (the decal, that is)

On the original DS, yes, they are imprinted into the buttons, but on the DSlite they appear to just be painted on the buttons.

The skin from decalgirl that I use has a clear coat over the actual print design, so it should never wear off under normal use. It just looks kinda dumb since the buttons are already labeled (note second pic). I just figure they put it there because the paint on the buttons eventually does rub off and I was curious to see if anyone ever had it actually happen.

Obviously, the letters haven't rubbed off of mine yet......if it ever will.

@OP - The buttons certainly don't *feel* like they would rub off very easily, even with some scratching at the buttons... but they might. Apparently it's easier to rub away the letters on my keyboard (Logitech) than the ones on my DS Lite.

@Rayder - The first thought that occurred to me after reading your post was that maybe the letters were put there *just* because you have the retro skin? It reminds me of the turbo controller I used to have.
