This is just a theory, but it may be the truth? I saw that Amazon isn't selling the Vita, despite selling all kinds of things. The Vita was also far cheaper in 2015, maybe it's now more expensive because the sellers are running out of stock? Discuss.

Pretty sure they haven't slowed at all. Stores are still getting stock, people are still buying.

So yeah it seems like the Vita is discontinued in Europe. RIP
If i remember, i think they did mention that already. Vita tv was discontinued before they stopped vita. Kinda like virtual boy, so sad. On the bright side, Sony being compared to nintendo. Perhaps not so bad. :P

Anyway, If sony did stop producing vita, it could be smart move so i would think they would do so soon. Personally i don't think the vita is bad. But under current circmstances and statuses as things sand now, it is part of a bad situation, way worst than PSP. Now not to confuse anyone, i am speaking from business stand point. From consumer standpoint they should keep making them, sell them at lower prices and perhaps start adding better games at reduce price, either store or the PSN store. With the increase of PSplus price, i hoped they would least OFFER MORE to us than just us paying more.

I think it's a wise decision from sony to only focus on PS4. I think it's better for sony to be king of the console market while nintendo reigns in handheld market (if they still can defend from the smartphones)

Ever heard of the concept that competition is good for customers like us? In a perfect world, the Vita would be doing great against the 3DS, and the Xbox One and Wii U also doing great against PS4. Sadly, this is not a perfect world we live in.

Back to the past again, sega vs nintendo was the best time for games. They were actually trying their best to make us pay for them. Now we buy even less sonic games than mario, and now mario is gonna be a iphone game..... Video game crash repeats itself. Shame.

2020 year of PACHIENKO MACHIENES EVERY GAME WE KNOW WILL REDUCE TO THAT or MOBILE FREE TO PLAY. :P

Yep, you're right. Good old 16 bit war. :D I owned both Genesis and SNES back then, otherwise I would have missed out on too many good games. That Mario game on Iphone is just a running game, right? At least Nintendo is wise not to offer a full blown platformer. Leave that to real console or handheld hardware.
