And this is why I don't like updating, I'm half retarded.

I applied the update first but didn't apply new atmosphere or patches. Now it won't boot. A fatal error occured, and I did find the correct fusee.bin to boot directly. Hekate won't boot either?

And I can't find my sd cover to put it in an old laptop the only one I have to be able to put it into a computer.

Oh well at worst I'll just have to buy another sd cover, still looking for it though.

My uncle works for Nintendo, so I got to play through the game while it was still in development. It's about 10 hours long and feels mostly like busywork with all the traversal. The bosses were cool, but there weren't that many of them.

If any of this turns out to be true, I'll look like a genius.

I just got Hekate to boot how do I proceed? I made a backup of 16.1 that I was on before the update should I go back to it or is there a way to access files via hekate?

Edit: bout to get it straight, Hekate has option to view files from computer now, saving my ass.

Edit: bout to get it straight, Hekate has option to view files from computer now, saving my ass.

Go into "tools" and turn on the USB mass storage, from there you can mount the SD card and transfer over files.

Hekate has a USB mode so you can access the files and then just wholesale replace the atmosphere folder with an updated one instead of drag and dropping which can cause issues sometimes.

I copied atmosphere and bootloader then I copied the patches.

Yeah it keeps crashing after a few seconds of booting the console into the switch main menu wtf never seen this. I should make another thread and not hijack this one.

Got this from reddit seems to have fixed it, some weird internet related thing I guess.

I'm using latest Atmosphere (1.7.0) and original firmware version 17.0.1. I fixed it with editing /atmosphere/hosts/default.txt file in sd card. Add following lines to the default.txt and restart.
