Might be the norm, but it's still weird to me. Just put it on the cartridge. No its pretty common actually. Updates will drop before the game does, quite often on Switch games.

Because modern games now often "go gold" before development is finished, this doesn't work. The update simply is not ready when the cards are manufactured.Might be the norm, but it's still weird to me. Just put it on the cartridge.
Well i already am, i just keep my switch games sealed now.If i have to wait to the next week id rather wait for the official realese bro
I downloaded it off my usual website, it's legit, plus that website would not host it if it wasn't.A Japanese XCI even more likely.
Why? Well there seem to be a Japanese NSP update file already available. Can't tell if its legit or not as I won't download it.
Same, I'm on 17.0.1 and waiting to see if this game is worth updating it now, or just wait.I'm still on 16 firmware I'm dreading updating my Switch.
Use cnx updater, it worked fine for me, I'm on 18.1.0Same, I'm on 17.0.1 and waiting to see if this game is worth updating it now, or just wait.

No i don't like, trust, or use AIO updaters, rather do it manually myself. Thanks though.Use cnx updater, it worked fine for me, I'm on 18.1.0
What are you so scared for?10 pages for a game that hasn't leaked.
I'm still on 16 firmware I'm dreading updating my Switch.
Yeah i updated it the other day since i had a feeling it needed to be.10 pages for a game that hasn't leaked.

So why are you dreading updating your switch? I've used AIO and manually updated, and never had any issues. No i don't like, trust, or use AIO updaters, rather do it manually myself. Thanks though.

My uncle works for Nintendo, so I got to play through the game while it was still in development. It's about 10 hours long and feels mostly like busywork with all the traversal. The bosses were cool, but there weren't that many of them.
If any of this turns out to be true, I'll look like a genius.
Guess I'm just a old schooler, I've always done it manual. AIO are known to give you bunch of homebrew/apps i don't need and I've seen many people have problems with AIO on the Switch noobs thread. To each they own though. So why are you dreading updating your switch? I've used AIO and manually updated, and never had any issues.
AIO has never given me extra apps. Don't get me wrong, manual updating is safer, so I do see your point.Guess I'm just a old schooler, I've always done it manual. I downloaded the cnx updater separately from their github and used it to update the switch firmwareGuess I'm just a old schooler, I've always done it manual. Its in the homebrew menu isn't it?Ok well I need help I used to always use ChoiDujourNX but now it gives me an error when trying to run it so I'm using AIO I downloaded 18.1 but I need Daybreak Google says "it's included with Atmosphere" but it's not, and it's not on Atmosphere github. Where do I find Daybreak?
if you download the latest ZIP file from the Atmosphere github page, you'll find Daybreak in the switch folder, called daybreak.nro. ChoiDujourNX is rather old nowadays, better switch to using Daybreak only from now on.Ok well I need help I used to always use ChoiDujourNX but now it gives me an error when trying to run it so I'm using AIO I downloaded 18.1 but I need Daybreak Google says "it's included with Atmosphere" but it's not, and it's not on Atmosphere github.
