Hacking has anyone tested online play with a wii modchip

From just being able to read the kanji and guessing around the Japanese, it's saying something happened (I'm guessing error), take out something (I'm guessing disc) then telling you how to turn the Wii off by pressing the power buttom. And please refer to the manual for instructions. Something to that effect.

I just burnt the Pokemon Battle Revolution and It did not work..Â

I inserted the disc and I got this error message right away!

I think this game has some kind of protection..
I've burnt 6 games so far, none of them has any problems besides Pokemon !!! :'(

I dont read japanese but that screen really looks like the a DRE during game boot time. You had to take the power cable off, right? none of the buttons on the wii worked?
Try it again. I dont get any DRE during gameplay (I got some before with some "bad" dvds) but I get those sometimes ..very rarelly.

It says there has been an error ... after ejecting the disk, press the power button and turn the console off... basically no go..

you don't need to be able to read the kanji to notice that the first word is Error in katakana (???)..

I can translate some of that actually, one bit in the middle says 'off'. So it's telling you to ******* off and ******, whatever it is...

Holy crap I can read "OFF" too. We're totally 1337.

That's nice, I don't read Katakana or Hiragana. I am Chinese so I can only read kanji. Good for you that you can read that.

I burn the game again in 2x speed with Arita DVD+ and it works now.

someone test to see if the japanese game pokemon battle revolution can go online if its burned...

can backed up games still have online play?

The Wi-Fi battle does work fine.

I also tried to send Pokemons from DS to Wii with Pokemon Diamond Rom,
but unfortunately it did not work.
My DSL got 2 white screens when DS and Wii tried to make a connection.

BTW, I use an Acekard.

I suspect DS to WII wont work if you're using a passcard/key, 1slot solution, or flashed DS.
But WII to DS should still be ok.
