Has anyone sent their Wii in for a chip?

    I know how to solder but not incredibly well, and I don't have a soldering iron. I figure instead of buying one and possibly killing my Wii, I'll just send it in to get a chip put in. The only place I know of that does it is www.modchipman.com and I've heard mixed reviews about their work [a friend of mine had both his modded ps2 and xbox die on him, which he got from there].

    Has anyone here sent theirs in for modding? I would like to know where to go, and how much you paid for the install as well as how your experience was. Thanks.

    I doubt you can kill you wii, in the worst case you're up for some big stress, but hey ! if you don't sweat for it you don't earn it !
    sending it will cost more than equipping yourself for future replacement of modchips (region free...)
