Wondered if anyone else "seen" this yet

¦ WiiDPR Presents ¦

Nintendo Wii - Game Dumper
+--------------------------------------+
¦ Type of RLS....: Util ¦
¦ Release Date...: 12.18.06 ¦
¦ Size...........: 1 x 15mb ¦
+--------------------------------------+
¦ ¦
______________________¦¦¦¦¦ NOTES ¦¦¦¦¦______________________

With this util, you can dump your original wii game disk. Of course, its not
possible at the moment to play these backups. But we have an ideal that the
original wii firmware *COULD* be modified to play these game backups. I also
want to confirm the WiiLoader youtube video was indeed a fake

______________________¦¦¦¦¦ Whats Required ¦¦¦¦¦______________________

1) Wii
2) Original Game
3) SD Card (Needs to be 2GB) or you will get very tired dumping a game
wink.gif

4) This release
5) Time

______________________¦¦¦¦¦ RELEASE NOTES ¦¦¦¦¦______________________

1) Unpack the .rar file to any directory on your PC and have original game inserted into wii
2) Copy the WiiDumper.jpg to any SD CARD (Use 2GB)
3) Plug the SD card into your Wii and goto Photos to start the dumping
4) After the SD Card is full, the screen will say, "SD Full, insert blank SD Card"
5) You must copy file1, etc to your PC HDD then format card and re-insert into Wii
After all parts of the game have been copied to the SD card and transferred to a PC
6) Use the following command to put back all the pieces of the game
copy /b file1 + file2 [+ fileN] filename.iso

it means the dumper will dump chunks of a given size, producing file1, file2,...,fileN, and the command copy /b will just make one big file. I don't say it's not fake, but at least it makes sense.

i have a feeling its a nother fake because of the copy /b line. whats + fileN?
The command is indeed valid, the switch aswell (/b : this switch is used when copying binary files), you can check it out on Technet
I assume N means from 1 to N , for instance file 1, 2....n
What bothers me about this nfo is would you be able to copy the second part of the disc once you've formatted your SD card? Wouldn't it just copy the same binaries over and over?
Not sure if it's a fake or not until somebody gives a try.

fileN is representing the case where there are more than two files needed to be join, so you'd add file3 + file4 + file5 as needed.

EDIT: Beaten to the punch!

Doesn't anyone find it odd that they made, for the sake of the conversation let's humor them and call it real for this question now, a dumper and they haven't releasing any of the games?

It sounds like the dumper keeps running on the wii during the whole process, so you just keep inserting blank cards (without the dumper on them) until it's finished.

We can't all be heroes because somebody
has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by

/------------------------------------------------------------------------\

Game Title: The Legend of Zelta: Twilight Princess
Region: NTSC (usable on PAL with our tools)
Date: 6. Dec 2006
Platform: Wii
Format: ISO

\------------------------------------------------------------------------/

Please note, all the other -Wii and -XVZ releases are fake. We bring you
the real deal! It also isn't crappy clone, its cracked ISO which is fully
playable on both, yes BOTH NTSC and PAL systems.

All you need is a computer with a dvdr burner and dvdr disk.

How to burn working copy:
1) Unpack our release
2) Execute our tool and select if you want the image to work on NTSC
or PAL systems. Click "patch image". It also applies our crack to make
it bypass protection on Wii.
3) Burn the patched image with your dvdr burner.
4) Remove the case from your Wii console, otherwise dvdr wont fit in.
5> Insert the dvdr into your Wii and PLAY! Very Happy

HEROES maybe looking for
- Wii games suppliers from europe (no us or jap)
- 200mbit or faster sites with Wii section

If you want to contact us, you'll find a way.

Can anybody confirm if it works? huh.gif

number of posts doesn't reflect your amateurity

the only annoying thing is that no one ever states where they get the nfos and none of these ever exist

for now, we can only have wishful thinking

I agree that number of posts is irrelevant to the accuracy of the content of a post.
What we need is more info though, please can the OP please provide further info on where this .nfo was sourced?

I'd actually be glad to give the actual release out, I have already been modded by shaunj66 before for talking about "warez" so I'm not sure if its allowed or not. If shawn gives the go ahead I'll attach it to a post or something. And to those that think i'm just a stupid n00b wanting attention think again, I'll fine with someone closing this thread as I gain nothing from it *unless it works of course =)

For the release I got it off BT, the file registers as a virus as soon as you double click the rar file. It contains a nfo and a .jpg and thats it.

I sent you a PM. If you would, send the file to my email. If it's legit, I'll make sure it gets posted somewhere where everyone can get it.
