Does it work well, I cant really find any info about it, and wherever its posted its immediately removed, is there a github, or can someone pm me (a legal version of course) of the release.

Well from the looks of it, you could just install android on your switch and run that version of the remake.
I've found a build on a random russian tracker iirc, I think it's also available on some websites that provides game backups (maybe it's available on the one that starts with the name of the console and finishes with the name of one of the format used to play said backups)
