Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

probably dead idea, but what if i have 2 3ds( one of them affected by ban), setup emunand on both, use tinyformat\sysformat
system transfer from banned to unbanned, copy movable, erase emunand, setup it again, use tinyformat\sysformat...repeat

That's an idea, it'd at least help confirm if movable.sed does indeed update on the donor system once it has transferred it

The retail cartridge is version 0 as well. CIA=Cart dump=Legit dump to play (in any capacity) without flagging Ninty because they ALL use your console header,cart has it's own. The only reason people were banned was for pinging an active server before access was granted. The game DID NOT get you banned, just because it was Ver. 0 (Which again is the legit cart version) period. The only reason the eShop version have a new version number after the fact is because the seed that was released yesterday changed it, making it legit to play online with too. It would have been different if you were using Ver 16/32 (and probably easier to know for a fact you weren't using a cart anyway) from the actual shop because it would have been impossible to get. It was safer using Ver 0 in hopes Ninty didn't check the header and call it a legit cart. Carts were not. Can we PLEASE stop with the whole "The Lurantis dump got me banned! it isn't safe!" Because that's not even close to true.......

This is the answer i've been looking for. So i should be able to go online with the "leaked" sun version that has the string .0 on it, it's a cart dump and doesn't need a header like a .3ds does, the only reason people got banned is because they were moronic enough to play BEFORE the game released, that obviously set some red flags off at Ninty's HQ.

You know, now that I think about it... why did I even bother downloading the latest retail cart dump? I mean... where did Lurantis get his leak? From a cart. Dumping it 10 days earlier is the same as dumping it today. The cart dump I downloaded today failed to install on my 3ds so I reinstalled the lurantis one. I'm almost 100% convinced I'm going online tomorrow. Here's hoping no one starts saying they got banned...

Yes the wait time is imposes server side IIRC, you need a way to bypass that too.

Exactly, but if you already downloaded the preload you HAVE to either delete all traces and reinstall a new CIA or inject the seed from the eShop release. Either way the game is safe if it's out legit in your country.

So, Yes 5 days in EU but its out in US this means people have dumped and uploaded the US Gamecarts as CIA's. all pokemon games are Region Free meaning they can be used on any region 3DS.
Legit CIA's are ones that are dumped from consoles that come with the game pre-installed like the New Super Mario Bros one ages ago.
Realistically it doesnt matter which cia you get they will all work and are primarily the same thing.

What you think about the Online Mode which confuses me now after you said its out in USA ? have i the same risk, playing this game online as other games that i download trough freeshop and play online ? or is here now the chance BIGGER for gettin' banned ?
