Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

Except for the fact that Ninty has no way to tell a cart from a CIA, version number be damned. So they wouldn't know who has a cart and who is using a CIA, hence why everyone is banned even reviewers that were told not to use those features.

nope. i did not use any online features like trading, GTS, or wonder trade.
all i did was go to the festival place, and logged on GTS to look around and went off. no trades, no nothing. i pkhexed everything i want

Someone said it wouldn't work because the ban checks a file, and that file is copied to emunand from sysnand.

Not to be rude but if it was a simple solution as creating a new emunand/system format/NAND inject/CTRTransfer etc, this thread wouldn't be over 100 pgs long.

your 3DS has the same device ID despite being reformatted.

Any other way to change the deviceID and bypass the NNID services ban? I know for sure that it's tracked by that, I made the simple NTR explorer method... but we really should have something easier. Either an NTR plugin to make my old method automatic or something to patch it in ARM9 ITCM, whichever works. So any ideas?

I tried your method, it didn't work for this case NTR plugin would be easy to make though.
