Problem is only a very small amount of people have that game. I couldn't get the code because my 3DS uses the brazilian eShop.

It's free, but only available on the Japanese eShop. The only way people from other countries were able to get it was from Club Nintendo, but, since my 3DS uses the brazilian eShop, I couldn't use the code.

Say I downloaded a free game, is there anything to look for that could trigger an exploit? Without going into the whole coding scene because I don't understand any of that

Cubic Ninja.cia/.3ds but that is illegal. So, i don't recommend it, but it's your computer/device. So, with that being said; obtain a copy of cubic ninja. It's the easiest way to enter homebrew on 10.2.
EDIT: I'm an idiot. You can only do that with cfw. But you can still buy the game and do this.

I'm on a 9.2U 2DS. I think I'll install Themehax before it gets patched.

Already use it. I await themehax to work before that gets patched. If it winds up patched and I don't get it working, I'll buy a O3DS XL.

themehax wont get patched on older versions and is my only entrypoint now on my old 9.9 3ds
