Misc Has anyone attempted to abuse the Nintendo Zone streetpass relay?

I'm really looking to finish my puzzle boards. Can someone please direct me to Mac addresses I should use for completed boards or at least to get a lot of streetpasses?

I dont understand the point of the site. What does it do exactly?

You post your MAC adress on the site and crediars script automatically changes his MAC to yours and you will streetpass him.
But this only really benefits himself to get many passes, since you can only pass him and only every 8 hours with your MAC.

One by One, since that is how Nintendo made the system. Each MAC will give you 1 Streetpass every 8 hours or so.

Try 42:53:50:4F:4F:46 I got one from there not too long ago.

If you go :50->56 you'll more than likely just get me. As I seeded up to that point. So hey.. you can get a high level me for like FindMii or something.

I am hoping we can get some more people to use the 42: series. As a Windows based spoofer I'm unable to use the 40: ones.

Doing that now. 53 is active at the moment, 50-52 worked quite well.
Also, to anyone using Macshift - you can create shortcuts to macshift.exe and put the parameters and stuff in the properties (for example H:\macshift\macshift.exe -i "WLAN" 4253504F4F53), so you only need to doubleclick those shortcuts.

I think someone mentioned that they have. But you need to change your SSID to Bestbuy

The few tests I've done seem to indicate that it does matter, that streetpasses are specific to MAC address and SSID. i.e. if you seed attwifi on @SPOOF, you won't be able to gain that streetpass with another 3DS on _The Cloud on @SPOOF.

I've been using _The Cloud all the time. Also 55 and 56 don't seem to "work" (getting no Streetpass hit with them). I wonder if that's because of the SSIDs..

I have been exclusively using attwifi, as my wifi tether application does not allow spaces in SSIDs.

No JRave, so I guess it can be confirmed that the SSID has to be the same... But then again, _The Cloud shouldn't work in the US, right? I got a couple other US Miis in my Plaza... Or maybe... Hell, I dunno anymore.

Region does not matter, iirc. I can have a European 3DS and get streetpasses using attwifi or a US 3DS and get streetpasses using _The Cloud. But seeds from one MAC/SSID combination will not crossover into another MAC/SSID combination that has the same MAC.

Aaah, good to know. I thought they were "region locked" as well.

Why shouldn't? The only difference is that those ssid can only be found on the UK
