Saved 20 backups with wiibackup manager to pc, on orig hd sizes vary, on PC iso sizes all same 4.XGb.

Best to use W format to reduce backup sizes e.g 150GB all w.?

Existing 4.2e just come my way.

Thanks for any help.

Gambia, The
you can either use (scrubbed) wbfs files or (scrubbed and sparse) iso files
wbfs can be used on all fs (wbfs, fat, ntfs, ext2/3/4), iso only on ntfs and ext2/3/4
the size of the files is the same in all cases

choose you fs by what else you can do with it

I suggest fat32 because it is the most supported (by wii homebrew)

Many thanks, as noob did not know of scrubbed and sparse iso files.
Glad to hear leaning towards fat32 (my own inclination) but now have reason for it (homebrew)

Much appreciate the pointer, off tor read up on scrubbing iso files..
