Happy Pi Day everyone! Today being 03.14.08 is Pi day. Think of the mathematical expression Pi, commonly know to two decimal places as 3.14. Just thought I'd share that with everyone. [IMG] MATHEMATICAL! RHOMBUS!

Nah, I have friends that go there. I'm at the University of Ontario. I'm just a humble nerd. [IMG]

As I write this my calculus professor just put up a slide saying "Happy Pi Day!!!", how ironic!

Now that you mention it... there can't be no Pi Day in countries that use the DD/MM/YY format, like Spain and most European countries and Latin America. Obviously, there's no fourteenth month, so 03/14 is ilogical in a DD/MM format.

Other than that, happy Pi Day! [IMG] (???)

I say this every year, but this day does not need celebrating.

Why because it is one of the most important numbers in math? Because it is math?

People celebrate other stupid days. For instance Columbus day for instance....yeah lets romanticize this rapist, plunderer, murderer.

Lol, we celebrated this at my school for some reason this year. One student in each grade level was randomly chosen from a drawing, and they got to throw a pie at the teacher of their choice. It wasn't that bad but there were only 3 teachers to choose from. Luckily, I got pi in math though.
