    i learned that more americans celebrate this day
    than the mexicans -.-
    and that it was some battle
    and that uhm they celebrate their independence day more (in september)

    Lol, it's about Mexicans celebrating some war they lost. And I think Cinco De Mayo was their general.

    Mexican army beating the French army in some pointless battle in Puebla, we won that battle, the French still invaded Mexico, later we kicked them out, end of story. Actually down here we don't really celebrate it -I worked today FFS!-.

    But yeah, happy Cinco/Cinco.

    Yep. And we watch fireworks to celebrate our General, his name was 4th of July.
