Deciding to break the chain of talking to a fictional, blue, hedgehog...
It's great to see that Sega's mascot has lasted so long, Sonic games are some of the best out there.
Although now I feel old, being born in the same year.

20 years i think its about time for mario, sonic' and megaman fight. too many old iconic video game characters.

20 already? xD sonic is half a year older than I am. The first three games have been classics the whole time and unlike most people, I actually enjoyed the storybook games on the wii. It was a different take on sonic and it wasn't anything like the 2D games, but it actually did have some elements I enjoyed.
Now to avoid a flame on my ass, I'd say: keep in mind what you did with colo(u)rs sonic, and you'll be whizzing past the medicore mark in no-time because that game was the most awesome sonic game in years.

I didn't know they made an MSU cart for the Genesis.... I knew about the SNES one and the library for that is rather large but the Genesis one has very few games+1

An FPGA could probably replicate the chip's functionality without buying donor parts.+1
