If so, how? I really don't like the Wild Pokemon and the Trainer Battle music.

Here's some info I should give out:
    • I know that XY uses AAC files.
    • I'm using HANS on a Nintendo XL, Firmware version 10.1.0-27U (dunno if I should update or not).
    • Using Ironhax.

Hmm i thought they used btcsm files.
Dump your game using braindump, You should get a folder called 0000(Othernumbers). Download "Pack" under "What you need" in the forum post. Use Romfs Extractor from the pack you downloaded. Navigate to the 0000(other Numbers) folder braindump created and hit go. You should get a folder called romfs_ in the directory the braindump folder was in. Now download Every File Explorer under the orange block. Once downloaded go to your download folder and right click the downloaded .zip file. Click properties and click unblock from the bottom right prompt. Extract the zip and launch Ever File Explorer. Once its open click the Folder icon in Ever File Explorer and navigate to your romfs_ folder then the subfolder "sounds" you should see lots of file either .btcsm or .acc. Hopefully you can go on from there
If they are .btcsm download Brawl custom music or the same procedure as making a custom 3ds theme music

I know that I can replace the music that way, but how do I configure the songs so they loop correctly and how do I inject them into the game?

Oh, and XY does indeed use AAC files. ORAS decided to switch it up and use btcsm files instead.

There was a music to .btcsm converter floating around somewhere iirc.Ill look that up for you right now. As for looping and injecting, looping is found within the btcsm converter and injecting just rename the file as the one your trying to replace and swap them. Ill get the link but what extension are the files in the Sound folder?

I don't need that converter since I'm trying to change X's music NOT ORAS's music.

    XY uses AAC, NOT btcsm.

Oh, and I tried replacing the files, rebuilding the romfs file and running it through HANS and all I got was a black screen, which obviously means that I did something wrong.

Did you remove the first 1000 bytes from the romfs?
Edit: also make sure the romfs has the correct title id

Yes and yes. Correct ID, first 1000 bytes deleted, still black screen.

Hmm im not too familiar with xy romhacking. Maybe there's a size limit on the music? try importing a small sound file then rebuilding the romfs

I guess I'll wait until someone actually knows how.

With the new hans you don't need to remove bytes anymore

That's cool and everything, but still don't know how to make the songs loop.
