For anyone having this issue, buy a new hard drive or use DVDs instead(not recommended)

I have been constantly trying to load my wii games for a full day and I cannot figure out what is going wrong.

Usb Loader GX only shows 3 (and a half) games and when I try to load them Usb Loader GX freezes.
I tried Wiiflow, Usb Loader CFG, ULoader and NeoGamma. Some didn't work and some loaded half the games but the other half just said "Reading Disc...." after loading them.

I use a 16gb sd card for homebrew channel stuff (wads, apps) and a 500 gb external hdd for my games.
My HDD has 2 partitions: FAT32 for GC games and WBFS for wii games. The only games that work seem to be really old games.

I tried to reinstall my cIOS slots multiple times but it was still not working.
How do I fix this?

Update: I tried to move Just Dance Wii (JPN) to my SD Card for testing and it worked. I suspect this may be a Hard Drive error or something similar.

Update: I have tried formatting my hdd to ntfs, FAT32 and reformatting it to wbfs again. None worked

Were your games working previously before or did you just recently set up the drive? If it was working before, have you recently partitioned the drive for gcn games or was it already set up and working like that?

No the games on the drive were not working before. I used to have a SD to USB adapter that I would use to play my games but it broke some time ago.

Are your gcn games working at all? I'm just trying to figure out if something is funky with the partitioning or if its maybe an outdated CIOS issue. Also how are you loading your gcn games? through nintendont?

Gamecube games load with Nintendont but after the loading screen it juet says that there was an issue and to check the gamecube manual. This is probably an error on my part because I haven't really setup Nintendont yet

Some titles require a base 57 cios, which you have installed to slot 250. I don't think this is likely to be your problem because it shouldn't be impacting HALF your games but just the odd few like guitar hero games, rock band games, I think monster hunter tri too.

You have a patched ios36 as well which (debatably) isn't ideal, but that's probably not the issue either

Using a single fat32 partition is probably your best bet

Thank you I will format my hdd to one fat32 partition and try it out.

Update: It didn't work.

Also make sure it is set up as MBR and not GTP. It should be plugged into USB port 0 (the one nearest the edge). What kind of hard drive u using? It may just not be compatible...
Drive is MBR, USB slot used is 0. I'm not sure what you mean by what kind of hard drive I'm using. If you mean who the manufacturer of the drive is, in the drive's properties it shows up as (standard disk drives). I use a micro usb to usb adapter to connect my drive to my wii.
I suspect the problem is that maybe the hard drive has physical damage (I bought a used 500GB external hdd).

Even if the drive is fine, some are not compatible. For example pen drives or small flash drives generally have poor compatibility. Some drives may need a Y cable to draw power from 2 USB ports, but this is less common with the wii, and more common with the wiiu (which has relatively underpowered USB ports). Anyway, regardless if it's incompatible or damaged you should try a different drive and hopefully that will work for u. Good luck!

Thanks for all the help. I will buy a new hard drive when I get more money (too young for a job and my parents won't give me money if I help them do chores so I gotta wait for some time until they accept to buy me a new hdd)
