Is force disc region actually working? I have a game that require the ENGLISH language and so far I have to boot it with softchip/gamma/GeckoOS.

I have tried 2 different force disc region hack and they always freeze my wii (black screen and wiimotes off or completley freeze if I use 480p mode) or don't work (black screen but wiimotes on).

hello,

posts about hack.ini are so much spread all over the forum that i don't know where to look...i've installed the whole softmii thing with preloader .27 and all is working fine.

what i don't understand is why some of the options in settings->systemhacks appear more than once, even after i've run the hack remover through HBC.

most options appear twice, and the 'remove no-copy protection' even appears 8 times. has this a purpose? what should i do when i want to 'skip disc update check' for example? should i enable it twice or maybe just the last one?

any explanation would be greatly appreciated. I've pasted my .ini, and i'm on 3.2E. if anyone has a better one please let me know?

290 = pal 258 = ntsc. i think your wii is pal
