They might set off your AV though (one "leaked" in a test just now and started eating hard drive space in line with any decompression tool that gained a mind of it's own).
gba sound hacking never really went that in depth compared to the likes of the DS (between pointers and the sappy engine not being quite as widespread as the SDAT one it is not that nice) and other home consoles, still http://gbatemp.net/t230202-gba-sappy-sound...ion-by-bregalad (and read the whole thread as some good stuff is in later posts).
