Hacking Metroid(s)

    Hi everyone, if you didn't notice this is my first post here. I have been a long time fan of 2D Metroids and loved the 2 GBA ones apart from thier length. Now, I was wondering if I could hack either Metroid Zero Mission or Metroid Fusion to change the level layout, powerups, events etc. to make a "remake" of Super Metroid and/or Metroid II.

    Does anyone know of a program that hacks the game, similar to the Pokemon's one?

    interdepth made a level editor for both gba metroid games. its called double helix.

    using the editor requires some skills or you end up causing the game to crash at some point.

    There is also a guy named DoctorM64 working on a Metroid II remake, it doesn't run on a gba but is pretty good:
