If anyone has experience in this kind of hacking, how exactly do you hack beatmaps? When you look at beatmap files in a Hex Editor, you just get random characters. How exactly do you hack these?

Project Mirai DX/Theatrhythm Final FantasyWould be kinda useful to know which beatmaps you're trying to hack.
I highly doubt these can be easily modified, you'd have to do some research and build a tool to modify those.Project Mirai DX/Theatrhythm Final Fantasy
I know that, no ones been working in the format though. There's already a thread for Mirai DX hacking, and also a team currently working on hacks for it.
Nobody sharing info ≠ no work doneI know that, no ones been working in the format though.

U sure about that?
Yes. There's a program for it too, but it seems like not alot of people know about it. The creator of it hasn't been around for months tho. There's also a small program that converts PSP, Dreamy Theater, and Diva F dscs to Mirai ones, but it's not released yet. Only me and the creator has it. It's not ready for a release. It has a couple bugs, like making a few notes impossible to hit (even for the Role Model item), and editing it makes the entire dsc messed up.Can they be easily modified??? I didn't say that there's no way to modify them, if there's a will there's a way.
