Hacking hacking a friend wii

My friend's wii is a lu57, and is 4.0u, I want to make sure i don't brick it, so if i use banner bomb, then install preloader and cioscorp, everything should go work correctly right?

use bannerbomb,preloader and backlauncher. cioscorp i wouldn't worry about it unless you have to play games through disc channel. neogamma's backup loader work better then cisocorp.
