OK, first of all: I am so FREAKING HYPED FOR THIS.

Good People Die (Gyokugen Dasshutsu Adv: Zennin Shiboudes)
From what I've seen, this doesn't looks like a direct sequel to 999, but just a new Nonary Game.

    Prologue (Google Translated)
Waking up in the elevator. Beside a strange girl. Beyond that, however, he seems to know .... "Sigma ...". Why ...? Why do I know that name? Sigma was violently drawing closer, their quest is cut off by one rabbit. Who suddenly appeared on the monitor. They will be forced to escape from the elevator as soon as possible. File with a mysterious girl, before the girl escaped the elevator and somehow Sigma had spread like a warehouse space. There are a figure of seven men and women combined unfamiliar .... Sigma, including nine who, unknown place to escape from betting, games of betrayal, "Ambika index games" were going to do .... Wait a fear of death and cheating ahead of mutual trust, "betrayal" of the named games kick off.

The game looks good but I have no clue what this is about. I never played 999 nor do I even know what type of game it is.

Other then that I'll keep an eye on it.

Was wondering when this thread would pop up.

Day 1 purchase, easily. Seems pretty awesome based on the very little detail released about it, lol. Supposed to have voice acting too.

wow, Allice really don't like bras, huh... that necklace is pretty much just surface cover. that's tantamount to wearing star stickers. *gulp*

and i know it's pretty much just coincidence, but i get the impression that Sigma looks like the matured version of 999's main character (forgot his name). anybody else think so too?

I got the Bad Ending last night at 999 and now try to get the good one. Looking at this makes me realize
how much I will miss 999 if i fully finish it. [IMG]

The US only got a limited release I think, one of the few games the world was truly grateful for their flashcarts for. This is definitely a day one purchase, though I bet the Vita version gets localised and the 3DS remains in Japan and very limited US release- as long as translating it takes long enough for me to get the Vita, I'm fine!

I mean, the game isn't even released in Japan yet, I wouldn't expect them to have any plans on working on it yet. They can't confirm that they'll do it, cause they haven't even seen it yet. So.......

Even though I'm pretty sure its going to be localized, the thing is, it usually takes around 9 months to a year to localize it fully; so NA might not see it until 2013.

Whatever you do, do not go through the true ending doors before you have all the other endings unlocked. Though you get the Coffin Ending as you get the true ending. It's worth it. Not to mention you need to get the safe ending before you can get the good ending anyways.

Junpei, but I don't think this is the matured version since Junpei had brownish hair and Sigma hair is black. Now the pink hair girl can pass as the older version from 999 http://moarpowah.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/9991.png

And the oldish person in the new 999 game could pass for the older version of Snake.. but
    Warning: Spoilers inside!

And that girls name was Clover If I'm not mistaken

I'm kind of tired of ports... many gaming companies seem to have lost their innovative way of thinking or they're just too damn lazy to actually create another game.
I want to play a different game! Not the same damn game! What's the point of creating a new system if all you're just going to do is make a port with "better" graphics? It's not all about the graphics!! TT_TT

Uhm... what do you mean with "port"? That's not a port. Do you mean a remake?
It's not a remake either, it is a completely new game.

And LAZY?! This being a sequel to a game that was mainly a lot of text- somebody pretty much has to write a novel and remain mostly unknown for their efforts, while the publisher gets all the credit!
