Yes you can use the gateway blue card on luma a9lh just fine. I should post my little tutorial tomorrow maybe. I keep seeing this question.

ok... i've sorted out my 2ds and installed Luma3DS A9LH.

i need to know a few things:
how do i restore my orginal sysNAND to use as a CFW?
how do i restore my emuNAND which i used with Gateway 3DS?
how can i play games on RED GW3DS Card alongside Luma3DS A9LH?

You don't need your original sysNAND, with A9LH your sysnand is fine this way. Your EmuNAND can be restored using Hourglass9 -> SysNAND option -> SysNAND restore. Using Hourglass9 assures that you won't lose your A9LH. You can use Gateway arm9loader.bin with bootloading. For example, holding D-Pad down for me boots Gateway CFW, not Luma CFW. This means I can use my GW Red Card by booting Gateway mode by holding D-Pad down.
You can use this to use Gateway blue card on Luma3DS:

thank you.

just to ask, what to do you have your GW3DS payloader named as? as i can't get it to work, as i get a black screen.

also... i have a backup of my emuNAND, which i have named as NAND_emu-20160828.bin. i dumped this from my sd card using emuNANDTool. is it still ok to use this in replacement for what i have when i installed Luma 3DS?

I used the GW arm9loaderhax.bin and renamed it to Down_Gateway.bin.
If I hold dpad down and then press the boot button, it loads Gateway CFW. I can then proceed to press select to use the Gateway red card :)

Yeah I believe you can just use that nand backup with hourglass9.

whilst i was installing Luma 3DS, i was worried that i'd overwrite my sysNAND and i would have had to send it off to get it reflashed. lol

i'm so glad, that i did backups this time (just in case).

although... at least, i can do more than i was able to do before. :)
