Hacking GW - Do you still have to hit Home->Exit game to save game saves?

For Gateway 3DS do you still have to hit the Home button and exit the game for the game to write the save to the Gateway 3DS?

For me, yes. I do have to do that every time I want to save.

Yes, but you can alternatively hit the power button (to go to turn off screen), as that will save as well.

So to save a Card1 game, either home + x or power button.

Just don't let the battery die and you're good. Turn it off or close the game, anything works.

Haha I think Gateway said they fixed it and it usually does work but sometimes it breaks and you can lose your save. If you do the home and close game option though, it still makes the transfer and keeps your save so do it just to be safe.
