They actually did last time, though.Hmm yea because I dont personally don't see a company killing clones, that's wrong. Perhaps the big the whole brick scare is false.

Last time, there were a bunch of legitimate gateway users who got bricked alsoJust curious, how is it wrong when they are using gateway's own code to boot up the 3ds portion of the supercard dstwo+? Isn't it just protecting gateways own properties?
It was 2 people and they got refunds from GW directly the rest had fake Gateway cards with the shorter pin.Last time, there were a bunch of legitimate gateway users who got bricked also

because in the end its all piracy as someone earlier once said. What you are are referring to is honor among thieves.Just curious, how is it wrong when they are using gateway's own code to boot up the 3ds portion of the supercard dstwo+? Isn't it just protecting gateways own properties?
Speaking of the latest gateway release, I see that they added this to their change log:
"* Fixed loading issues for CIA based games, classic mode"
So does unsigned CIAs run in Classic Mode now? If so...finally. They really need anything they can get to compete with the free CFW.
Not sure what they stole but based on what you guys said something was stolen. Now that i know that, yeah, it does not make sense to brick a clone over something that was not theirs to begin with. Just seems like a big risk to take a chance in case the supercard dstwo+ does really get bricked.because in the end its all piracy as someone earlier once said. Its like a thief stealing from another thief
well its not really confirmed that gateway stole anything but reverse engineering is a form of stealing but not going into details. Gateway may be just mad because they was the first company to crack crack through the 3ds just to have another company base their code off a new card for a cheaper price, that most likely a big blow to gateway company. but the thing is what does gateway expect? every card that ever came out always has clones, nothing new.Not sure what they stole but based on what you guys said something was stolen. There's no telling what gw is doing or going to do until things happen (or never happen). They may try to block it first, until the lose their mind and start doing dirty trick again, or they just let it go (i personally doubt that).well its not really confirmed that gateway stole anything but reverse engineering is a form of stealing but not going into details.
