I'm curious, if I play Guitar Hero 2 Modified on my Wii (which uses Guitar Hero 3 save), will I be able to create a new save for it?

I want to keep my scores for GH 3, without GH 2 using the save file for it.

Is the right way to do it is by moving the GH 3 save to the SD card and creating a new save file for GH 2 on the Wii memory?

Will there be a problem with swapping them over? Like overwriting or existing file?

Or will I need another SD card to swap the save files around?

Game saves work off of the title ID. Each custom version uses its own custom ID. You can have as many custom versions as you like and they will all have their own save file.

Oh, I see... just that the readme file said:

"This is a modified version of Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. This disc uses the GH3 PAL gamesave slot so NTSC users will not have their high scores changed."

I than thought it saved over the save file.

Is it possible to change the ID of a custom GH 3: Guitar Hero 2 Modified game?

As the README said, it treats my (PAL) GH 3 and Guitar Hero 2 Modified as one save file.

Anyone know how to change the ID of the game to read another so I can have different save files?
