As long as there is music, Guitar Hero will never be dead.

Anyway, that's a pretty huge list of bands, hope it's a great game.

EDIT: Oh my f*cking god, Dire Straits. I just noticed that. This game will be kickass

I don't understand why they keep releasing new games when they can just sell the same tracks for an older game.

wow, like, wtf?.. the only thing I think is interesting is children of bodem... I want to know which Nerd chooses the song... i mean ow my god.... if it were for me there would be, like, more bullet for my valentine, rise against, maybe a little fall out boy, some more slipknot... not this soft wannabe rock sh*t....(sorry for swearing, but looking at this list makes me kind of sad mad XD)

Nah.... as long as there is Rock Band, Guitar Hero can die some day.

The list is nice, but lacking in some influential bands like The Who, oh and there's Megadeth but no Slayer, Anthrax and Metallica [IMG] Argghh where's Black Sabbath/Ozzy Ossbourne and Black Label Society? I want them. [IMG]

Whichever game, RB or GH, has led Zeppelin in it first, I'll surely play it. But this, doesn't look much different except the large band list. Maybe there will be more in the future to change my mind [IMG]

Guitar Hero and Rock Band should just work together and become, like, Rock Hero Band thingy (XD)...
they should make drums that do not brake or something (right, guitar hero 8|... ) and still have 5 drum pads (rock band... meh) and get, like, 2 kick pedals with the possibilty of not using or using both..
get like 300 songs on that little F-ing disk with download capability but with like only 10 points per song XD, have a guitar whit buttons like GH3 and slide path with peaces between so that you know that you on yellow and not on green XD (yes, that kind of happend to me...) and the make... well... meh..
Just put 300 F-ing hard rocking numbers on that little disc and make us stop whining X'D

    to make more money obviously.

also, I'm glad to see Children of Bodom, Rammstein, and Gorillaz on there. Too bad there's no Slayer.

Meh, who the fuck wants to play garbage by No Doubt, Brand New and Blink-182? Those bands suck nards. There are a few shitty bands, but otherwise a decent lineup, still won't compete with Rock Band's DLC. Just make it DLC instead of milking people for a game that is the same and has songs that some people don't want.

The fact that Tom Petty(and another with the Heartbreakers?) is included is nice, but the general lack of Disturbed, Metallica, and Ozzy, as well as a few others, saddens me greatly.

Also, this is not Keyboard/Piano Hero. Less Elton kthxbai.

Doesn't mean they are Guitar Hero worthy songs, shit they are mediocre pop songs and even more mediocre guitar songs.

And one Rush song won't make me want it even if it's an exclusive track, but there isn't much that won't get picked up for Rock Band DLC at a later date. Xanadu or A Farewell to Kings would be cool but I doubt it, the whole album is epic enough to just be a DLC album
