Hey, guys The time comes when you want to save a video etc etc from a webstie but either you have to pay, or you just dont have the means!... This is a guide to saving almost anything of the Website u Visit,EG-Video,Pics used on the site, site text etc etc etc the list goes on!.. This is prety simple! ---------The Tutorial---------(Thanks Bob D) To save the Video file, you MUST view the video in Internet Explorer. Firefox WILL NOT work, and I'm not sure about other browsers. Once the video has fully downloaded, (watch the progress bar) immediately click on tools on your IE toolbar at the top. Then click on Internet Options. Then, in temporary internet files, click Settings. Then View Files. This will open your temp file folder. You want to click on View, again at the top. Then make sure you click details. This will allow you to sort based on the parameters you have already chosen. Click the Size bar, once to sort small to big, then again, to sort big to small. If it brings all of the smallest files (1kb) to the top, then click it again, that will bring the largest file to to top, and your .flv file from the video you just viewed should be there. Right click it, choose copy, then paste it into a folder where you want to save it. If it is a YouTube file, it won't have an extension (on purpose). You need to rename the file (whatever you like) but be sure to add the [ .flv ] extension on the end. This is simple!, and videos from youtube u watched will be listed as "get_Video" in the folder, and the videos in your temp folder most likely- will not have the same name as you watched on the website etc, there will also be pics and other files from that website too, so you can save em too!..this dosent apply to just youtube! almost every-single website!,Youtube is just an Example! Hope this helps a lot of guys, some of u might know this ,but this is not that common!
