Ok I just bought a new vita and it's on 3.61. What can I do with it? Can I hack it? I want to be able to play ps1 roms.
Your Vita HAS TO BE on 3.60 or lower to be hacked, NO EXCEPTIONS! You cannot downgrade to 3.60 either.
Is there anything I can do?
Yea, sell your current Vita, and get one with firmware 3.60 or lower. That's why you should always do your research before buying a system you want to hack (unless you buy an already hacked system).
Yeah, my b. So I should just lose hope and update to the newest firmware? I can't really sel it and buy a new one.
Selling your current system, and getting a 2nd hand Vita with firmware 3.60 or lower is your best bet.
If you can't buy a new one, then your only hope is wait an update of the hack for 3.61
thx but for your tuto : (PSTV only) Mounting USB Stick as ux0
Is it possible to use my extra 8gb vita memory card as uma0 ? Don't think so, cause yfanliu said in usbmc github taht if the vita card is plugged in then it boots first. Is there a way to use my vita card ?
MLTHaKu! won't help?
That post was made 10 days ago, Mlthaku was released 2 days ago.
sorry man, just clicked on notification bell and saw the big meme face. I didn't check the date of your post!
I had a little question : for the psp games, I know on the original psp, the .iso format is better than the .cso but is that the same on the vita ? I know it doesnt matter on ppsspp
The Vita basically uses the same PSP hardware for PSP mode, so it'd work the same as it does on a PSP.
Hey guys, is there a way to copy my saves from my original games so I can use them with my dumped games?
I noticed that some of my folders on ux0: are invisible in Windows if I connect my Vita to my PC via VitaShell USB, even though I can still access them. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening?
Go to Folder/File Explorer options, and find "Hide protected operating system files" and uncheck it, and disable hidden files/folders as well. This will allow you to see all directories/files in ux0.
Thanks. I keep the .ISO then.
Also, I search a 128 sd card for my sd2vita but There are so many models. What is the best ? What speed ect.. ?
Just pick a trusted brand like SanDisk.
As to speed, so far we're not sure if speed even matters at this point (since we don't know the true read write speed of the cartridge slot, AFAIK). A class 10 would be fine.
