1. Underground: ascend for the first time, enter a secret room to the top-left via a false wall.
2. Next screen, ride the downward-moving platforms below the floor.
3. Ascend. Go toward the exit.

4. During the first snowboard segment, after a pink rabbit, jump up to an optional platform, and slide underneath the narrow passageway.
5. Later, don't jump off the 2nd two-segment iced platform.
6. After the continue point, jump next to the ledge, on an iced penguin or Mega Ball.
7. Down the road from the previous bolt: first go to the right of the ice launcher and take out the two floating whales. Jump on the ice launcher button, then quickly hop onto the ice block.
8. [special weapon required] Break the ice floor with Astro Crush. Descend. Break more ice.
9. [special weapon required] Further up in the same room, hop on a Mega Ball to reach it. Use Flame Sword/Flash Bomb/Astro Crush to break ice.
5. Later, don't jump off the 2nd two-segment iced platform.

15. [Rush Bike required] Ride the Rush Bike to jump to it.
16. After the continue point, take out Sniper Joe, without falling through the boxes.
17.[Flame Sword required] Hop on a Mega Ball to ascend the skull platform on the left, then Flame Sword slash the barrel.
18. After, hop across to the right. The green-eyed platform does not move.
19. [Tornado Hold required] Find the row that has two blocks, a gap, then three blocks. Enter the middle of the three blocks on the right, to go to a secret area. Here, use a Tornado Hold to hover up.
16. After the continue point, take out Sniper Joe, without falling through the boxes.
17.[Flame Sword required] Hop on a Mega Ball to ascend the skull platform on the left, then Flame Sword slash the barrel.
18. After, hop across to the right. The green-eyed platform does not move.
19. [Tornado Hold required] Find the row that has two blocks, a gap, then three blocks. Enter the middle of the three blocks on the right, to go to a secret area. Here, use a Tornado Hold to hover up.
20. In the first area, leap from the second-last purple platform.
21. [special weapon required] After the continue point, enter the giant ship. Use Homing Sniper/Astro Crush at the ceiling panel with a bolt emblem on it.
22. On the ground, after the mid-boss.
23. After the continue point, let the 2nd platform fall, then leap right.

24 (PlayStation). At the beginning, hop up to reach the ladder, and go to the left of the enemies.

25. From the first bolt, go to the right, use Thunder Claw to swing across the spike pit.

26. 1st maze: push the red switch, push it again, and slide under the door before it fully closes. Head down two ladders, go right, and slide left under a narrow passageway. Push another red switch, then backtrack right, over one ladder. Slide under the opened red door.
27. Quicksand tower: slide to snag, then slide out and keep going.
28. After the continue point, during the disappearing platforms segment.
29. 2nd maze: head right, go down two ladders. Head left over a gap, push a red switch. Jump to the left and push the green switch. Go back around, push the red switch. Go down 2 stairwells, push the red switch. Continue right, jump on a Mega Ball, push the green switch, jump over the gap.
27. Quicksand tower: slide to snag, then slide out and keep going.

29. 2nd maze: head right, go down two ladders. Head left over a gap, push a red switch. Jump to the left and push the green switch. Go back around, push the red switch. Go down 2 stairwells, push the red switch. Continue right, jump on a Mega Ball, push the green switch, jump over the gap.
30 (PlayStation). In the Flash Bomb section, it's on the floor in the first room.
31. In the Thunder Claw section, grab it on the bottom-left of the third room.
32. After falling off a lava waterfall, shoot a Flash Bomb at the off-colored ceiling, jump to the ladder, climb up, and go left.

33. [Astro Crush required] After the continue point, 2nd room, use Astro Crush, swim up, on the right.
34. [Tornado Hold required] In the next room, go to the bottom-right, use a Tornado Hold to lift the spike ball, slide right.

36. Instead of swimming across the spike pit, climb the ladder to descend another shaft. Hug the leftmost wall.
34. [Tornado Hold required] In the next room, go to the bottom-right, use a Tornado Hold to lift the spike ball, slide right.
35. [Astro Crush required] Above the previous bolt, swim across the spike pit (if you flooded the stage by using Astro Crush), descend the shaft, under the 2nd, left-sided spike platform.
36. Instead of swimming across the spike pit, climb the ladder to descend another shaft. Hug the leftmost wall.
37. 3rd room, slide to the bottom-right corner, behind the flora.
38. Next room, head up to the top-left, go right, use Tornado Hold to the right of the thorns, use a Thunder Claw on the top node. Swing 3X to the right, climb the ladder.
30 (Saturn). Same room, head right, up the ladder.
39. From the previous bolt, descend the ladder. Pick up the 1UP.
40. [Thunder Claw required] After descending a ladder later in the stage, you have to use the Thunder Claw to swing past a spike pit.
38. Next room, head up to the top-left, go right, use Tornado Hold to the right of the thorns, use a Thunder Claw on the top node. Swing 3X to the right, climb the ladder.
30 (Saturn). Same room, head right, up the ladder.
39. From the previous bolt, descend the ladder. Pick up the 1UP.
40. [Thunder Claw required] After descending a ladder later in the stage, you have to use the Thunder Claw to swing past a spike pit.
