I've got my PSP downgraded yesterday, Katamari and Every Extend Extra works.
I downloaded GTA Liberty City Stories but it freezes at the loading screen...

    I'm running 3.71 M33-2, what's the problem?

cso, tried converting back to iso and tested it then but still the same (I'll probably have to download the iso version right? :\ )

    it could be

    1. bad iso / cso
    2. bad memory stick
    3. Bad settings in recovery mode ?

Redownload it, and make sure if you have NO UMD mode on it's at Sony NP6680 or whatever. It might be your memory card or your PSP (Slim or Normal), too. I have a normal PSP running 3.52 M33-4 with Sony NP6680 NO UMD and I'm using a Sandisk ultra II 4GB and I have no problems, so if you told us your setup that might help.

PSP Slim, formatted regular 2GB memory stick...

I'm not sure about recovery mode since I didn't flash the firmware of my PSP

Why not try buying the game like I did, use a UMD dumper to dump it to your Memstick or use the built in feature of the Custom firmware. This way you support the developers of this very excellent game and you know you get a working ISO. Some games are worth buying and supporting, this is definately one of them without the slightest doubt. I do prefer GTA VCS though, which I also ordered.

I buy games when I'm sure they are worth buying... I'm not sure if this is any good at all, reading some of the negative shit about this game. I've already got about 5 games, so it's not that I only hacked my PSP to play copies.
