in case anyone didn't know about grooveshark yet, it works on any browser, just go to grooveshark.com, it's an awesome service but I found 2 chrome extensions that are pure awesome and make it alot better

    they are:
sharkZapper basically makes it so you don't have to switch your tab to control your music, and it has the option to show the song that's playing once it changes and to put a little control box on the bottom right
GrooveBud this lets you control grooveshark from any phone with a decent browser, so if you have a sound system in your house controlled by your pc u can control it using ur phone (albeit it can only pause play skip to next and skip to last track)

also, wasn't entirely sure where to put this so, as you know, it generally goes here if people don't know [IMG]

I've tried Grooveshark and yeah it's really awesome service. Didn't know about the extensions, I'll be sure to give them a whirl. [IMG]

EDIT: sharkzapper is kickass. You don't have to switch tabs again! [IMG]

Grooveshark's awesome. (Especially for pirates, lol)

I use We7 quite a bit but there's a lot more ads than there used to be (start off with none) and they get quite annoying.

Edit: Spotify is also quite cool.

I hated chrome as it was that that made my internet go off and on every 5 mins.

this thread's more about how using grooveshark is best on chrome, not trying to start a browser war in here

Essentially the same thing, maybe even better for FF4:

I don't personally use Grooveshark, as I would rather just play my music straight from my files, but I guess it is a fairly popular service.

I think there was something before for pre-FF4 (not sure if it was as efficient as the FF4 one or the Chrome ones), but it would have been hard to make an app for Firefox 4 back in January without it being released yet. [IMG]

    I know, I just said that I didn't like chrome, I wasn't starting a browser war.

But anyway, I don't really like using sites like that, I just download my music from youtube videos.
