Plot Summary for
Grindhouse (2007)

An homage to exploitation B-movie thrillers that combines two feature-length segments into one double-bill designed to replicate the grind house theatergoing experience of the 70s and 80s. In "Death Proof," a psycho named Stuntman Mike (Kurt Russell) stalks and kills beautiful women with his car. In "Planet Terror," a small-town sheriffs' department has to deal with an outbreak of murderous, infected people called "sickos." A gun-legged woman named Cherry (Rose McGowan) and her martial arts-wielding partner (Freddy Rodriguez) take on the zombie army. The two films will be fused together by fake movie trailers.

What has Quentin been smoking? Sounds good tho. Sad thing is it probably won't make any money.. He should only release it at drive-ins. And it's 4-5 hours? Two movies at once? With all the video games I play I can barely sit and watch one tv show let alone sit in the theater for 4-5 hours. My attention span is almost completely gone. I'm playing FF3 while I post this!

Edit: Found trailer and it looks AWESOME.

Edit 2: Oh man after watching the trailer again I realized that Machete clips are prolly one of the fake movie trailers, but it looks the most bad ass. The machine gun on the bike looks cooler than the hot chick with a rifle instead of a leg. I bet the babysitter twins is another fake trailer.

It wont to 4-5 hours, both movies are 70 minutes each and then you get some fake trailers (which may become proper films if there's a Grindhouse 2) which are made by other directors (like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz director Edgar Wright).

Had my eye on this one for well over a year now and each preview i see makes me want to see it more, its great that both Tarintino and Rodriguez are trying to bring double features back, especially these type of low budget films.

It may not be a hit like the likes of Spiderman 3 or Pirates but chances are that it would make more money as its low budget, like alot of horror films nowadays.
