Hi today while playing re:r the grey rubber fell.

I found out on ebay those:
1. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Analog-Controller-Joystick-Cap-3DS-XL-3DS-LL-/161300680360
2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Analog-Controller-Joystick-Pad-for-3DS-XL-3DS-LL-/151269362704

Shall i buy both in order to replace?
Will some glue work on it?

Thanks in advance.

just glue it, worst case is you either A. re glue it or B. replace it. might as well try the easy cheaper way first.

I know people use the circle pads in other projects (portable GC or N64) and often do not use the original nubs. so there must be some way to do it.

also is it broke? or did it magically come off? from the picture it looks more like it magically came off but I don't see how that could happen.

EDIT: I forgot to say you will only need the top cap thing not a whole new circle pad. it is pretty simple to replace too. just remove the back cover and the circle pad is right there held in with 2 screws.
