Try Fallout 1 and 2, System Shock 2. starcraft, Descent, Doom and Deus ex.
There are a lot of old classics and they are pretty cheap via steam but not all available on steam

Unreal Tournament comes to mind. There are others. I'll post if I can think of them.
The first UT is fun, but UT2004 actually runs rather well on my PC, so I play that. I just downloaded Midtown Madness, gonna play it now.

Nice suggestions. I use to play Halo all the time. I think I might start playing RCT again, I love that game. I'm gonna check out Return of the Incredible Machine, it sounds interesting. I'm gonna try Half-Life too, I beat the sequel and Episode One.

64MB? Oh, you poor dear!
ohnoes.png
And I thought I had it bad with my measly 128MB.

Anyway... On to my recommendations...

The classic LucasArts point-and-click adventures are a must-play for any gamer. Day of the Tentacle is one of my favorite games ever, blending ingenuity and puzzle-like gameplay with delightfully-cartoony visuals and music. Ahh, nostalgia.

Speaking of must-play games, Half Life most definitely falls into this category. The game has been met with nearly unanimous praise that holds true to this day. It was an immersive and revolutionary step up in the genre at the time, and set a standard for all subsequent shooters.

I'll post more as they come to me.
